To Live is Christ, To Die is Gain

We have recently attended the Thanksgiving Service for Don Latham. Yet another of our beloved teachers has passed from this life into the presence of Jesus. I’m sure he is enjoying that place! “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”(2 Corinthians 4:8). We who are left behind have good memories of his love and care, his generosity, his dry sense of humour and his ability to communicate Bible truths in a clear and simple way. I have a personal memory of Don that is very precious: he was the speaker at a gospel meeting where the Holy Spirit first revealed the truth of Jesus to me. My whole life changed from that night on and my husband and I went into full time Christian video ministry. We are thankful that we have so many of Don’s teachings on video. In the Bible College he taught on such subjects as The Name of Jesus, Healing, The Gifts of the Spirit and The Kingdom of God. You can watch these by simply going to our Online Course Materials page. In this way as well as many others, Don leaves a legacy which cannot be erased but will continue to bear fruit and remain for many years to come. We pay tribute to him and express our thanks for his willingness to be obedient to the Lord.
